Comedy Store

Went to the comedy store last night and witnessed some brilliant improvisation, from the comedy store players (mostly people who have done who's line is it anyway). Very good night out, recomended particluarly since is cheap for such top flight comdians (£13!!). Not particluar other news, am hoping tuesdays trip to the rock night will be good.

That sounds fun, I do like stand up.Why is it rock nights are always on an unsociable night like Tuesday, never on the weekend?

In places like guildford I think it is because only having a couple of clubs the best nights are always reserved for chart/cheese on the grounds you're pulling in the pissed arse crowd. Where as in my experience rock nights generally have a pleasent social atmosphere (even if you get some v.odd looking people they're usually nice as pie), who evidently don't bring in enough money. At least the unsociable timing reduces the number of idiots present.

True enough - the guy who runs the rock night I go to in Cardiff tried for 10 years to get a Saturday night and has only recently managed to get 1 Saturday per month, probably because "Nu Rock" is briefly trendy.I agree with your comments about the atmosphere, I have yet to see a proper fight kicking off in a rock club.
